Ask key minister to act so no-one in England is left behind in this crisis

The ongoing fallout of coronavirus has left some struggling, many have had to turn to a food bank for help. But it shouldn't be left to food banks to pick up the pieces.

That’s why we’ve teamed up with a coalition of charities to call on the Government to introduce a Coronavirus Emergency Income Support scheme.

A key part of this is for the Government to make sure councils in England have enough funding to provide emergency cash grants, so we can get money into people’s pockets quickly as this crisis continues.

Help make that happen

Ask Robert Jenrick, the government minister responsible for local councils in England, to act now to make sure that funding is provided.

If you, your family or friends are being supported by benefits during this time or if you have been volunteering at a food bank or other charity then it would be especially powerful to share that experience.
